Scott Rose’s physical transformation from vegan to keto. The internal health transformations were even more dramatic.

Just like you, I was overweight & sick.

Even though I looked thin, I was metabolically unhealthy and my body fat percentage was 25%, which is categorized as obese.

While weight loss is not specifically the goal of the keto lifestyle, weight loss is THE RESULTING SYMPTOM of good health in general.

I did everything “they” told me to do: I ate an extremely low-fat diet, I counted my calories, I ate 6 small meals per day, and I participated in an intense exercise bootcamp for years.

But I kept getting fatter & sicker. I had chronic asthma, chronic bronchitis, low energy, insomnia, acne, bloody stools, recurring bouts of BPV, and more. But why?

Unfortunately, we have been misled into thinking that weight loss & optimal health is about restricting calories, doing tons of exercise, and sticking to low-fat/non-fat vegan diets.

These are actually myths, which is why 75% of our country is fat, sick, and dying of fully-preventable diseases (such as heart disease, strokes, and many types of cancers) and fully-reversible diseases (such as Type 2 Diabetes, depression, dementia, bipolar disorder, and Alzheimer's).

Things got worse in my own life. Much worse. As I was getting fatter & sicker, I was disabled for 2 years by our Western medical system.

A negligent doctor prescribed me Cipro (ciprofloxacin) for food poisoning. Cipro is part of the deadliest family of drugs on planet earth — the fluoroquinolone antibiotic family. These drugs have been banned in many countries, they have received 2 FDA “black box warnings” (the FDA’s most severe warnings), and they are supposed to be reserved for life-and-death scenarios only, such as falling into a coma due to anthrax poisoning. These drugs unravel the DNA in the human body, and typically cause systemic lifelong damage to the human body. Unfortunately, Western doctors prescribe this drug like candy, and it often results in permanent side effects such as nerve damage, ripped tendons, chronic fatigue, brain fog, and much more. These symptoms can take 6 months to appear, which is why so many people don’t correlate their symptoms to this drug. I had over 10 different symptoms that persisted for more than 2 years — including peripheral nerve damage, chronic fatigue, and brain fog. I was unable to walk without pain during this time. The medical system and our society’s health advice had completely failed me. I had hit rock bottom and didn’t know what to do.

Turning to the keto lifestyle was one of the major steps in healing my body, and today, I am about 95% healed from the symptoms of my Cipro poisoning with just a few remaining tendon problems.

But — most people are doing keto wrong.

It took me several years of reading every scientific book that I could find to figure out the “right way” of doing keto. And I have now duplicated this success with 100% of my coaching clients.

For me personally, 100% of my previous health problems (asthma, chronic bronchitis, insomnia, etc.) have been completely reversed as well. I am now thin, muscular, healthy, energetic, and disease-free. When I first started sharing what I learned with friends who had their own health problems, they were thrilled when they saw similar positive results in their own lives.

So the keto lifestyle isn’t just about weight loss…

The keto lifestyle comes down to two incredibly simple things:
WHEN TO EAT and WHAT TO EAT.
(And most people ignore the “when to eat” part.)

 

Weight loss and optimal health is simply about correcting the hormonal imbalances in our bodies, along with eating the right foods.

  • Being fat is NOT caused by “lack of exercise”.

  • Being fat is NOT caused by “overeating”.

  • Being fat is NOT caused by “eating too many fatty foods”.

  • Being fat is NOT solved by “eating less” and “moving more”. Excess weight is due to a hormonal imbalance, not a caloric imbalance. This hormonal imbalance can be easily corrected.

 

I will help you fully understand these myths:

 
  • MYTH: You must be at a caloric deficit to burn fat. THIS IS FALSE! Restricting calories will ALWAYS LEAD TO WEIGHT GAIN 100% OF THE TIME, and it will often screw up the body’s metabolism for years so that weight loss becomes impossibly difficult.

  • MYTH: Exercise burns fat. THIS IS FALSE! Exercise, while fantastic for dozens of things such as building muscle & circulating the lymphatic system, does not burn fat over the long term — exercise only causes temporary fat loss, but then the fat comes back again.

  • MYTH: Fat and cholesterol cause heart attacks & strokes. THIS IS FALSE! Fat isn’t the cause of heart disease, inflammation of the arteries is. And inflammation is never created by eating fat, it is created by eating carbs, grains, sugars, and vegetable oils. In other words, the cause of most modern diseases & early deaths is carbs, grains, sugars, and vegetable oils. It turns out that butter is a health food, bacon is a health food, and steak is a health food! :) All the delicious foods that you’ve been told to avoid!

  • MYTH: A healthy diet consists of low-fat foods, non-fat foods, vegetable oils, and whole grains. THIS IS FALSE! Except for non-starchy vegetables (which are typically fine), these food recommendations are the foods which have sickened & fattened our entire country. There is no such thing as “healthy grains”, no matter what form it comes in.

  • MYTH: Eat as soon as you wake up in the morning, and then eat 6 small meals per day to keep your metabolism high. THIS IS FALSE! Your body needs to go through regular periods of feasting and fasting. This is how the human body was designed by Mother Nature. Intermittent fasting is a key component of the keto lifestyle.

  • MYTH: It is dangerous to eat saturated fat. THIS IS FALSE! Saturated fat and cholesterol are actually 2 of the healthiest & most protective substances for the entire human body. Cholesterol is a molecule that is vital to human life. Eating saturated fat increases the size of LDL cholesterol and raises levels of HDL cholesterol (these are good things!).
